General Information - The 2009-2010 season is 38 weeks, which includes a 4-week optional Summer Season. The MINIMUM weekly salary for this position is $1,260 per week. BENEFITS INCLUDE three weeksÕ paid vacation, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance (with payroll deduction equivalent to 10% of total plan individual monthly premium for MusicianÕs share), Instrument Insurance, and 8% AFM/EmployersÕ Pension Plan paid for.

BEGINNING DATE: August 2009
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in music from an accredited institution required. Experience in university curriculum and student advising strongly preferred. Experience in university teaching in primary discipline preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as Undergraduate Coordinator/Advisor for the music department, including student advising, course scheduling, recruiting and auditions coordinating, undergraduate curriculum, and related duties; teaching according to departmental needs and applicant qualifications, with applied percussion preferred; other duties according to department needs and candidate qualifications/interests.
UCF MUSIC DEPARTMENT: The UCF Department of Music is a dynamic, growing music program in the fastest growing university in the South. The Music Department has 275 music majors and 24 full-time faculty. The Music Department is designated as an All-Steinway Piano School.
